Tree grubbing

Tree grubbing

Tree grubbing – what is it?

We all know the term ‘tree cutting’ or ‘tree felling’, which means getting rid of the above-ground part of a tree or shrub. The main difference between cutting and grubbing concerns the root system of plants. Cutting a tree involves getting rid of only the above-ground part of it, so both its roots and stump remain on our plot. In the grubbing process you also get rid of underground parts, hence you can repurpose the area. The term also applies to the removal of roots after the trees are felled.

Tree grubbing – what is the purpose of it?

Tree grubbing is done to repurpose the area. If the spot where there was a tree or shrub is to be landscaped, the roots must be dug up and the soil loss in the area replaced with soil brought from elsewhere. Only then can the land be used for replanting or repurposing.

As a rule, trees are grubbed because of insufficient space or because there is an older tree that threatens the safety of the existing structures in the garden. However, felling and grubbing are not as simple as they seem, so we recommend that you find out more about the basics.

Grubbing is a complex multi-step process that requires professional equipment, expert knowledge and experience, so we recommend that you hire a professional business with qualified staff to carry out the process with due safety.

We can carry out tree grubbing in: Warsaw, Konstancin, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Pruszków, Piaseczno and many other localities.
